The sky was azure blue. Marshmallow clouds dotted across the sky. I was at school. The school was bustling with activity as it was recess. Some people were playing football, While some were playing badminton. I was with my best friend, Daniel. My mischievous friend, Daniel and I loved to explore places. Everyday, we will explore at least one place during recess. I was expecting nothing to go wrong but little did I know something bad was going to happen. and that was when i REliaze
“Let’s explore the teacher’s room today.” said Daniel. I told him that it was a bad idea as I was the head prefect but he kept calling me a chicken. I had no choice but to comply with him.
We sneakily tip-toed to the teacher’s room. We took surreptitious glances to ensure that the coast was clear. The door was locked, “I know how to lockpick.” whispered Daniel. He took out a safety pen and placed it in the lock. He turned the pin and the door creaked open. While we were in the room, we saw a tests, answer sheets and lesson plans. To make matters worse, while we were exploring, we heard some thudding footsteps and then, we saw a burly shadow at the door. “What are you doing in here?” The shadow yelled. We realised that we’ve been caught red-handed by a security guard.. We got pulled by the ear to the principal’s office.
We were thrown into the principal’s office. The principal was infuriated and gave us a tongue lashing. The principal was shocked to see me do a wrong act. My title was as the head prefect was stripped off. Daniel and I were suspended for a month. This costly mistake will forever be etched in the deep recesses of my mind.
