The sky was flaming red. The restaurant was bustling with waiters balancing trays of food. We were having a family dinner at the restaurant because it was my mother’s birthday. The restaurant was filled with a nice aroma of pasta. I was feeling famished. Rubbing my tummy, I leafed through scrumptious delights. I ordered my favourite pasta, macaroni. We could not wait for the food to arrive.

Feeling restless, my sister and I decided to play a game of tag. We were running amok, oblivious to our surroundings. We were having a whale of a time. What happened next was shocking. We accidentally bumped into a waiter carrying piping hot soup.

The hot soup spilled onto a willowy woman with long, lustrous hair. She cried in agony as she was scalded. Somebody administered first aid, and she escaped with minor burns.

We apologised profusely. Embarrassment stained our cheeks. We were chastised severely. We learned a lesson and turned over a new leaf.
